bramsvan Again

I've posted bramsvan videos before. Here is probably the funniest one that I have seen.

And thank's to Bob for introducing me to these. They really did make me laugh quite a bit.

However, I do have a problem with these. They are pretentious. The original Mac and PC commercials were pretentious too. It is funny stuff. But it creates an atmosphere where people are going to feel included or excluded on how 'cool' they are.

The "Christian" is uncool, and we are invited to laugh at the guy. The "Christ-follower" is hip.

I agree with what I think (hope) is the intended message. We don't have to wear suits, cover our cars with trite bumper stickers, or have service on Sundays only in order to be obedient followers of Christ.

But there is a subtle message that those who do those things are not as smart or as cool. People watching this might feel like you are saying, agree with us or be mocked.

Do you see how someone could be put off by this?
